Single weak magnetic separation process

The characteristic of this process is that a single weak magnetic separation process is used for the sorting operation, which is suitable for easy selection of a single magnet ore with a simple mineral composition. According to the process structure, it can be divided into two categories: "continuous grinding-weak magnetic separation" and "stage grinding-stage separation".

The continuous grinding-weak magnetic separation process is suitable for ores with coarser particle size or higher iron content. According to the embedded particle size of the iron ore, one-stage grinding or two-stage continuous grinding can be used. After the grinding products meet the separation requirements, magnetic separation can be performed.

The stage grinding-stage separation process is suitable for low-grade ores with finer particle size. Generally, rough magnetic separation is carried out after the first stage of grinding, and some qualified tailings are discarded. The magnetically separated coarse concentrate is then fed into the second stage of grinding for regrinding and separation. If a large amount of tailings is discarded after sorting under coarse grinding conditions, it will be beneficial to reduce the load and cost of subsequent grinding and sorting operations.

Weak magnetic separation-reverse flotation process and weak magnetic separation-selection process

In response to the problem that it is difficult to improve the grade of some ore concentrates and that SiO2 and other impurity components in iron concentrates are relatively high, in recent years, weak magnetic separation and reverse flotation processes and weak magnetic separation and concentrating processes have been developed in China.

The characteristic of the weak magnetic separation and concentrating process is that the iron concentrate after conventional magnetic separation uses special concentrating equipment to further improve the concentrate grade. Commonly used magnetic separation and selection equipment include: magnetic separation column, magnet concentrator, etc.

Weak magnet-strong magnet-flotation combined process

This process is mainly used to process polymetallic symbiotic iron ore and mixed iron ore. According to the different properties of the ore, it can be divided into: weak magnetic separation and reverse flotation process, weak magnetic - strong magnetic process, weak magnetic - strong magnetic - flotation process.
