The hot galvanized coating will not fall off after decades of exposure to the atmosre. When the galvanized layer has small crack or damage, the zinc can prevent the steel in the crack or damage from rusting, which is the advantage of the galvanized layer compared with other coatings. The zinc content of ferrozn alloy layer is more than 90%, which has the same electrochemical protection effect as zinc to steel.
