1. General Terms It is planned to purchase a set of equipment to produce continuously cast billets made of carbon steel grades, medium alloyed steel grades with nominal diameter 30 120 mm, which will be used as a raw material for steel rolled grinding balls with the same diameters. The equipment will be installed in the existing production cycle. Placing of equipment: Ukraine, Kharkiv region, village Komsomolskoe, Balakleevskoe Highway 30. 2. Requirements for the equipment 2.1 city 50 thousand tons per year of continuously cast steel billets; 2.2 Quantity of strand 1 2.3 Casted alloys grades steel 65, 65G, 70, 70G (GOST 1495979); 2.4 Characteristics for installation place: length 60 m, w, height to crane ways 7 m; 2.5 A complete set of technical documentation (assembly and installation drawings); 2.6 Warranty period of service 24 months or 50,000 tons of continuously cast steel billets; 3. Technical requirements of equipment for conticast billet According to the requirements of DSTU 30092000 (Round billets from carbon, low-alloyed and alloyed steel). 3.1. Main parameters and dimensions 3.1.1. Billet is made of diameter 30 120mm. Limit deviations of the diameter are to conform the ones specified according to DSTU 30092000 3.1.2 Produced billet with diameters of 30 100mm in rods from 4m to 6m long, preset length PL; produced billet with diameters 120mm in rods 3,5m, 7 m, 10.5 m long, multiple preset length MPL. 3.1.3 Limit deviations of the length should not exceed 100 mm. 3.1.4 Billet bending should not exceed 0,5% of length. 3.1.5 Ovality of the billet should not exceed 75% of the sum of limit deviations of the diameter. 3.1.6 Billet ends must be cut avotortion. Obliquity of the cut should not exceed 10% of diameter. Ends are allowed to be flamecut. 3.1.7 Reduction ratio has to be 4 4.5. (Apply electromagnetic stirring when solon, vibrational impulse processing of molten metal during solon of the billet, etc. to reduce the porosity of the metal.) 3.2. Characteristics. 3.2.1 Chemical composition (acc. to ladle sample) is to conform the one specified according to GOST 14959. 3.2.2 Limit deviations of chemical composition should not exceed: Carbon 0,01 %; Manganese 0,05 %; Silicon 0,02 %; 3.2.3 Grain size not less ball 5 according to GOST 563982. 3.2.4 Impact elasticity KCU 39(4) J cm2 3.2.5 Billet ends should not have fiber bundles, contamination, end cracking and cavities, burrs must be trimmed. 3.2.6 Billet surface should be free from cracks and scubs, visible without magnification. 3.2.7 Macrostructure and microstructure must comply with the standards specified in Table 1.
