Norbert started gemstones trading as early as 1996 by buying Tanzanite from Merelani and Tsavorite from Taita and selling tourists in Nairobi.
NKEI GEMS currently buys gemstones from local mines and sell on the international market. We are dealers in ruby, sapre, tsavorite, tourmarald, and others. We supply tourmatones, Tsavorite (rough and facet gems), ruby and sapre (all grades), aquamarine (cabstones, rough and facet gems) and even the rare color change garnet and sapre, Kornerupine, Malaya garnet and Chavia garnet.
Sometimes we locally make custom handmade basic jewelry pieces for our customers, including gold/silver wedding/engagement rings, fashion pendant necklaces and others.
