Egusi seed or Melon seed as it's also called is commonly found in West and Central
Africa especially in Nigeria, where it's used in preparation of local soup delicacies. It belongs to the legumes family
like groundnuts, in English it is known as Mann's cucumeropsis and white-seed melon. This crop is rich in protein and oil. The colour is white with yellow covering inside a big
pumpkin.
