In addition to plastics, the process can also be applied to other materials, such as different metals and plastics. CN Mould & Plastic Limited can use multi-color materials, such as TPE,PC,PA12,PA66 for multi-shot molding. We have the ability to produce 2K,3K,4K molding products.   INSERT MOLDING The process of molding or shaping plastic components around other, non-plastic components, or inserts, is known as insert injection molding. Most often, the inserted component is a hard and robust object like a rod or bushing, but occasionally, inserts can be as fragile as a PCB. In addition to using metallic inserts for strength and conductivity, the process makes use of engineering plastics to improve wear resistance, tensile strength, and weight reduction.   03 OVERMOLDING A special kind of custom injection molding called overmolding allows several materials to be combined into one part or product. A thin, soft layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) or other materials is usually layered over a hard plastic base component. This is done using either a single-shot (insert molding) or two-shot (multiple-shot molding) technique.   04 LSR MOLDING A manufacturing technique called liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding is used to create silicone rubber goods and components. It is a kind of injection molding procedure in which a liquid silicone rubber material in two parts is injected into a mold and vulcanized to form a final product.   05 LOW PRESSURE MOLDING A type of packaging technology known as Low Pressure Molding uses hot melt adhesive material that quickly hardens at low injection pressure. Low pressure, low temperature, quick process cycle, and high yield are all characteristics of injection molding.   06 CABLE OVERMOLDING The cable overmolding process joins and seals a cable and a connector, creating a unified part that protects its internal components. Overmolding increases the strength and resilience of the cable, allowing it to withstand more extreme environments than it would otherwise. Overmolding has significantly altered the appearance and functionality of cable.   07 2K LSR MOLDING In two-shot LSR injection molding, an LSR material and a second polymer are molded at the same time. The second material can be a thermoplastic material that is compatible with the first or a different grade of LSR (different hardness or color). The two materials are molded together during the same process to form a single collective two-material component. This is a two-shot injection molding procedure.   08 PEEK MOLDING PEEK is an extremely high-performance polymer. PEEK is used in increasingly complicated applications outside of the medical field. PEEK injection molding differs from injection molding of other polymers.   09 SILICONE COMPRESSION MOLDING Silicone molding is a manufacturing technique that is used to shape uncured silicone rubber. Compression molding is a process of producing silicone molds in which uncured silicone rubber material is inserted between two halves of a pre-heated tool mold.The mold is subsequently closed using the vulcanizer molding machine's highest force. Because of the high pressure, the silicone material will come into contact with all sections of the mold cavity. This procedure is also known as silicone vulcanization since the heat and pressure will remain for a few minutes until the raw material is entirely cured. The formed silicone components, as well as surplus material known as flash, will subsequently be removed or demolded by hand.   10 RUBBER COMPRESSION MOLDING Rubber molding is an industrial process that converts raw rubber into a useable product. This is accomplished by a variety of procedures that involve heating and bending rubber in a metal chamber. Rubber compression molding is accomplished by inserting prepared shapes of uncured rubber into the cavities of a heated mold, which is then sealed shut with hydraulic pressure.
