KOLA NUT

The kola nut is a caffeine-containing nut of evergreen Cola trees. Primarily, the species Cola acuminata and Cola nitida are cultivated in Nigeria.  The nuts aroma is sweet and rose-like. The first taste is bitter, but it sweetens upon chewing. The nut can be boiled to extract the caffeine. Kola nuts are best known outside of Africa as an ingredient in cola beverages. Its colour ranges from yellow to pink and red when fresh, and brown to dark brown when dry.  Bsolange Stores is an indigenous Nigerian.
