Glass fused to steel (GFS) tanks are a type of bolted storage tank made from two materials: glass and steel. High strength TRS (titanium rich steel) plates and enamels are perfectly fused at high temperatures to form a highly inert inorganic glaze layer. This coating system has excellent anti-corrosion properties and is the best choice for tank and silo.   YHR Tanks, as an experienced glass-fused-to-steel tank manufacturer , has consistently concentrated on the research and production of glass-fused bolted steel tanks since the mid-1990s. After over two decades of continuous dedication, our Glass fused to steel water tanks  have found extensive applications in domestic municipal, environmental protection, aquaculture, and various other fields. Additionally, they have been exported to international markets.     TYPES OF GLASS FUSED TO STEEL BOLTED TANKS USES OF GLASS FUSED TO STEEL TANKS Uses of Glass Fused To Steel Tanks Glass fused bolted steel tanks find extensive applications across various industries, serving diverse purposes in different settings. These tanks are notably utilized in: Water Treatment Plants Wastewater Treatment Plants Biogas Plants Agriculture Food Processing Plants, and more.  Renowned for their extended service life and minimal maintenance requirements owing to corrosion resistance and UV stability, glass-fused tanks cater to municipal, industrial, and agricultural needs. Their exceptional corrosion resistance, durability, and easy maintenance features make them highly suitable for the storage and processing of a wide range of liquids, chemicals, and gases.  Additionally, these glass fused bolted steel tanks are employed for rainwater harvesting, firefighting, and the storage of various industrial liquids. MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GLASS-FUSED-TO-STEEL TANKS Material Characteristics of Glass-Fused-to-Steel Tanks The steel substrate employed in the construction of glass-fused-to-steel tanks is a specialized high-strength enamel steel, distinctively designed for superior performance. Its mechanical properties, including yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation, far surpass those of conventional steel plates Features: Low Carbon, High Strength, High Titanium. FEATURES OF GLASS FUSED TO STEEL TANKS Fast Installation and Short Construction Period Excellent Anti-Corrosion Performance Low Construction Site Requirements Strong Temperature Adaptability Factory Production, High Systematization & Rigorous Quality Control Versatility in Applications, Seamless Integration to Form Assembled Reactors Visually Appealing Appearance Flexibility Of Relocation, Expansion, And Recycling Low and Simple Maintenance & A Lifespan Exceeding 30 Years GLASS FUSED TO STEEL BOLTED TANKS MANUFACTURING PROCESS Glass Fused To Steel Bolted Tanks Manufacturing Process Glass-Fused-To-Steel Tank adopts high strength glass fused special steel as the base material, and uses the honing technology at high temperature of 800 degrees Celsius to fuse the anti-corrosion glaze layer with high inertia onto the surface of the base material to make standardized steel plate module. Compared with other tanks (Carbon Steel Welded Tank/Reinforced Concrete Tank), Glass-Fused-To-Steel Tanks realizes breakthrough innovation in materials, anti-corrosion technology and installation mode, and is an advanced tank manufacturing technology. OUR Glass fused water tanks PRODUCTION PROCESS 1. Raw Material Preparation High-strength TRS (titanium-rich steel) plates specially produced for the Glass-Fused-To-Steel Technology. Rigorous preparation of machinery ensures optimal functionality. 2. Laser Cutting Utilizing laser cutting technology to meticulously cut steel plates with precision. Bolt holes and nozzle apertures are precision-cut with automated lasers for accurate and efficient production. 3. Shot Blasting Surface cleaning involves removing dust particles. All plates shall be shot blasted to SSPC SP-10/NACE2 (Near White Metal) to remove the surface oxide layer and oil pollution. 4. Bending Rolling plates are bent according to the tank diameter. Sampling inspection ensures compliance with the tank curvature. 5. Glass Coating Panels are coated with distinct glazes for varied storage mediums. Advanced automatic spraying coating technology as per AWWAD103 standard. 6. Firing GLASS FUSED TO STEEL - The glass coating is fused to the steel through firing. Firing in an automatic tunnel oven at 800℃ to make glass and steel combined absolutely. 7. Inspection Adopt the industry's high-standard quality control system, and implement a rigorous inspection. Holiday test and coating thickness test on every plate to ensure outstanding factory quality. There are many bolted tank companies, but we are one of the best choices for you.
