The chemical Composition of the Plates shall be as below:- C -- 0.080% max. Mn. -- 0.40% max. P -- 0.04% max. S -- 0.05% max. Si -- 0.20% max . Iron -- 99.2% min. The Steel Plates shall be fully killed, vacuum –degassed, ultrasonically tested to ASTM A578, and from single melt heat and Magnetic test as per ASTM A596M. The specific size of plates required by the party are as below. 250 mm thick x 2500 mm x 2500 mm 6 pcs . weighing approx. 74 MT. 170 mm thick x 2500 mm x 2500 mm 2 pcs . weighing approx. 17 MT. 75 mm thick x 2500 mm x 2500 mm 6 pcs . weighing approx. 22 MT. 90 mm thick x 2500 mm x 2500 mm 2 pcs . weighing approx. 09 MT. 250 mm thick x 2750 mm x 2750 mm 2 pcs . weighing approx. 30 MT. 250 mm thick x 2750 mm x 2500 mm 4 pcs . weighing approx. 54 MT. 170 mm thick x 2750 mm x 2750 mm 2 pcs . weighing approx. 20 MT.
