Dear, we organize the selection of mfr/supplier for a large lot Of lithium battery units (packs). We consider alternative suppliers. Requirements see below. Application: Automotive toll/POS device (on-board unit) in Europe Cell: Type: 18650 Li-ion rechargeable cell Voltage: 3.7V nom. (3.6V discharged, 4.2V fully charged) Capacity: 2.2Ah min. @ 0.5A discharging current. Safety valve and disconnecting device. Cycle Life: Over 500 times (25% capacity loss) or 10 years typical Temperature Range - Operation: -20 ~ +60°c, Storage: -40 ~ +70°c Battery unit (assembly of battery, PCB and cable): Cell quantity in unit: 1 cell (1S1P) Thermistor: NTC, 10 kOhm@20C Assembly: Cell, BMS+NTC circuits on round PCB on cell top, 3-conductor cable with 3-terminal Wurth/Molex connector. Cable soldered to PCB and cemented to it for tear-off prevention, HST tube outer sleeve with mfr lot ID printed on it. Uniform cylindrical shape of the pack. BMS circuit, cable and connector: Refer to attached drawing and specification. Lot: 200, 000 ~ 500, 000 units/year, initial evaluation quantity 1, 000 units. Packing: Box: 100 units each, Pallet/s approx. 10K units each, container Shipments: Gradually, 1 pallet as initial shipment, then container: TBD. Terms: Prepay for each shipment but some safety amount, FOB Hong Kong, surface/combined shipping - TBD Quality requirements: ISO9001 certificate, RoHS and CE statement and other applicable approvals to battery (UL1642/IEC62133/UN38.3). Allow inspection of Ryston rep before/during production. Warranty: 1 year/300 cycles. Declare uniform quality during the contract. In case of returned goods, RMA and back shipping costs will be paid by manufacturer. AQL(acceptable failure rate): 0.5 per cent in every 1K units. 1 per cent spare units In each shipment, this will be compensated in last shipment.
